2007 Kia Picanto LX 1.1 from Philippines

Summary:

In the scale of 1 to 10 it's 9 so far

Faults:

So far so good, as expected with the good reviews I've read in the web, it has far exceeded my expectations.

I had the original wheels changed with mags and it has made the car stand out from its original picture. The original looks cheap with the half plastic cap.

Nice dashboard and roomy from the inside. Three medium built passenger for the rear, they still feel comfortable.

Very easy to park, with it's size. But I still have not tested it's fuel consumption as advertised.

General Comments:

I am looking forward too many good years with this vehicle, I hope it can serve me well, office, home, school for kid.

Gas consumption has been one of my considerations, hopefully it will perform as economical as they project it to be.

With curves though I need to slow down a lot it's not like the standard sedan or the pick up that you could maneuver well even at a bit higher speed.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

How's your gas consumption (km/L)? My family and I are planning to get a 2007 - 2005 Picanto Model.

2007 Kia Picanto LX 1.1 Gasoline from Egypt

Summary:

Cute, small, but nearly all I need in a car

Faults:

Its still new, so I don't wish anything to occur any time soon.

General Comments:

The car is so comfortable for such small car, I don't feel to be missing anything that I would have if I had a bigger car except for the small boot.

Hi, I am willing to buy a Picanto so soon. I am living in Egypt. I am willing to buy the automatic one. Would you give me any advice on things to take care of?

Hi, sorry just saw your comment, nothing to worry about or to look for, for me I just took the car & left, and it OK since I have it now for 4 & half months, and drove for 6400 KM, went from Alex to sharm (8 hours) driving continuaslly, and with speeds up to 160 Km/Hr I could have gone higher, but I was too afraid especially that I had my wife & kids & car was loaded with our luggage.

So if you have any thing specific in mind tell me.

Hello!

I'm in Egypt too, and I'm considering buying a Picanto, I dunno, but I've noticed that it's disappearing from almost all the agencies!

I'd like to know if the car is still supported or not, and whether it's easy to find spare parts for it.

Hi I am wilhelmbrian from the Philippines.

Well I have a Kia Picanto LX 2007 model and I find it so very comfortable, especially on a long distance trip, and most importantly in parking.

And talking about its speed, it's very fast. I feel that I am professional racer hehehe!

About fuel consumption; it's not too expensive.

HI Barera,

This cars is not design for racing... take your own risk. if you want to find comparison look with their specs like engine, suspension most of all aero-dinamic design etc.

Hi, it's Tamer from Cairo. My girl had a Kia Picanto and she faced a lot of problems finding spare parts for a sudden problem that happened in the car such as the petrol hose, and we cannot find it even in the agency. Please advise where I can find it. Thanks.

Hello, thanks for the reply. BTW it seems this car is fast, I once tested its speed and it reaches @150 k/hr, and as as far as I know these cars race in other countries, especially in Europe. I think you can race this if modify your engine. What do you think?
