Owners do not seem like NBA players, reviews say that cars are located in GB. For those who think that Diablo is a waste of money... you are rather narrow minded. Look at the prices that super cars from the 60s (E-types, Ferraris, Alfa Romeos) are being sold now. In 30 or 40 years Diablo's will be collectables and they will bring their owners high monetary returns.
Actually the original poster did describe the Lambo experience pretty accurate. It does get in hot in there especially if the AC doesn't work well. And it is noisy. No point in putting much of a radio in it as the engine is music to ones ears (on a short trip) and can be a headache or noise to some (especially after longer trips.)
This car seems to made for the track, and assumes you have a Roll-Royce or a private jet for the long hauls. The seats are a tad bit uncomfortable to me as I tend to find most sport seats and position uncomfortable. It's bearable for short events but beyond that, nah. That what the other cars is for.
Driving it at high speeds is OK, but not every monkey with fingers can control this thing effectively, just as any monkey just can't get behind the wheel of a NASCAR race car and take the checker.
I looked at used NSX models at 25K only 300 hp. -
I like my C5 with over 400 hp slight mods even more can drive everyday. I do like the Murcielago and my wife would drive the small Diablo if I had more wealth.
