1983 Land Rover 88 Series III SWB review from UK and Ireland
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Clutch master cylinder failed; speedo needle was a bit erratic and optimistic (85mph in a series 3!); passenger door lock never worked.
General comments?
My first Land Rover and damn good fun. Once I put on the balloon tyres and drawing pin steering wheel it did wonders for my biceps and I never used to lock it in London as no-one would have been able to drive it in anything but a straight line.
