Nothing! Only owned for a week.
I love this car it is great. Power is awsome. I just have a question. Is there anything I should watch out for (problems, ect.)? I paid $8700 for the car. Is that a fair price? It only has 76000miles and looks like new. It just had the a/c done ($2200), new brakes and power steering pump.
Just updating everyone. I have now owned this car for almost a month. I've already had several offers from people who know their cars to buy this one. I can't get enough of this car its amazing. The features it has for a 92 is amazing. I unfortunaly broke the CD changer and was a costly repair ($600+).
Man let me tell you you got a damn good deal. The sweet sc400 goes for well over that. I have a rare sc400 believe it or not I have ostrach in mine the car is worth a million thanks for asking.
Just another update. I have now had the car for 4 months I think. I have put 3000miles on it, and have loved every minute of it. The sound system is amazing. I can't belive this things a 92. Lexus was way ahead of the game at that time. I'm going to buy another Lexus within the next month. Anyone have any suggestions on what model to look at. I'm thinking the Ls430 or Rx330. Thanks.

The car has 135000 miles.
I have had NO problems with it.
It is a great & wonderful car to drive!

I've had mine for 13 years. Had 120K on it when I bought it and has 240K today. I'd put every kilometer I drove in that car up against anyone's best ride! Power, Smooth, Music! Maintenance - there is long-term economics in regular dealer visits. SC400 - the best! Time to part with her now - any offers?
This car is beautiful!! I've had it for 14yrs now and it feels like it's still new! The sound system is amazing and this car has power!! Just put on the power button and turn overdrive off and the rpms will raise nicely... overall this car is one of a kind and I am very satisfied with it :D.
Just bought a 92 Lexus SC400, got a great buy, $5000 72,000 miles and nothing bad to report except the woofer is going bad, any suggestions on what I should do?
I recently bought 92 SC400 the car is absolutely amazing!the car turns heads where ever I go it has a custom paint job that changes 5 different colors. Nice chrome wheels, great system. I bought it just like that for $6000,this car was way before its time in 92. Great car, performance, power, luxury options are excellent. I have not had any engine problems. The only issue that I have that I wanted to know if anyone had info or advice on, is I'm having a slight hesitation or jerk feeling when I'm driving, but the car shifts well and runs good. a machanic told me it might be my speed sensor on my transmission which is inexpensive and not a serious problem. Does anyone no what this is, or have any knowledge of this or advice?THANKS!
I have had my 1992 Lexus SC400 for over 2 years and I enjoy this baby every time I drive it. I really take care of it and don't drive hard. No problems until recently. The engine mount is loose and needs replacing. The wheel alignment always goes off. Wheels slip on rainy days. Lexus could have done a better job. Shocks or struts may need replacing as it clanks when I drive on bumpy roads. But I still love it. I am planning to sell mine and buy a 1998 SC400 or so.
