2000 Lincoln Continental 4.6 from North America

Summary:

Comfort at an affordable price

Faults:

Day after purchase, washer fluid hose broke. Fixed upon next visit.

6 months later, same hose broke. Due to heat. Will have replaced.

Drivers front and passenger rear caliber bolts locked up. Dealership wanted $490 to fix just the two. Taking to AAA Plus since the cost to repair all four is only $621.

Driver side rear power window starting to fail. Will have taken care of upon next visit.

Drivers power seat motor failing. Will have taken care of upon next visit.

General Comments:

Car has plenty of power whenever it is needed. Accelerates smoothly/quickly from the line or when already cruising.

Comfortable for the entire family.

Great car for snagging it as a unintended sale price. Paid $7900 with the three year warranty.

2000 Lincoln Continental 32 Valve V8 from North America

Summary:

Luxury, comfort, and power at a great price

Faults:

No major problems as of yet. The one small issue was noted upon bringing the vehicle home. The windshield washer fluid hose broke. Dealer will fix upon dropping the vehicle off for rust proofing.

General Comments:

Great car! I purchased this vehicle from the original dealership that it was previously bought from and maintained at. It was a one owner and obviously a non smoker. Problem is that I'll have to stay away from smoking in such a clean vehicle.

The car handles great. I do get a little annoyed whenever the traction control kicks in. I must admit that it is a powerhouse even though it is front wheel drive. Front wheel drive is obviously something new to me and my family.

Very spacious in the cabin and trunk. Perfect vehicle for hauling my wife and kids around town in. After some time I will update with any changes.

Obviously you are lucky. Mine cost $5K in the last 3 years to keep on the road... agree about the comfort/handling though.

2000 Lincoln Continental 4.6 V8 from North America

Summary:

Incredible deal for so much car

Faults:

Nothing has gone wrong to date.

General Comments:

The car moves out silky smooth. I averaged 26.8 mpg on a recent 300 mile trip using the air conditioning. Multiple suspension setting can create the driving experience you want.

No better deal for a used luxury vehicle.
