1982 Mazda 626 Super Deluxe 2.0 litre from Australia and New Zealand

Summary:

Good reliable car at an extremely low price

Faults:

I had this car for so long, and drove it so far, that pretty much everything went wrong with it.

I replaced:

- Engine

- Brakes

- Suspension

- Tyres

- Batteries

- Alternators

- Exhaust System

- Front End

- Back End.

But it was a great car.

I did notice that the dashboard on this year car cracks in the same place in pretty much every car, odd.

General Comments:

It was a great car, and as you can see, here in Australia there are plenty of reasons for cranking out the kilometres that I did!

I would definately recommend this car to a first car buyer, though it is getting a bit old now.

It drives very reliably, and mechanics really liked this 1982 model as it was the last of the rear wheel drive models for the Mazda 626.

If you want an extremely cheap car with a half decent reputation, then this car is for you.

I sold it to buy a brand new Alfa Romeo 156 Selespeed Sportwagon, a massive jump up, but it was a great car and I have good memories of it.

I wonder where it is now? I miss it! :)

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
