1994 Mazda 929 from North America - Comments

"Very enjoyable car, but beware hard-to-find ultra high-priced parts"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Window Regulator in two windows as failed and required replacement.

Sun roof jams when opening.

CD Player sometimes won't eject when car interior is hot.

General comments?

One of the best styled cars to come out of Japan, and unfortunately abandoned by Mazda in 1995 due to slow sales from difficulty competing with higher end brand names in same price range.

The 929 has unique engineering characteristics such as a solar cells in the moon roof that runs cooling fans in the car when it was parked.

The 929 also sports one of the nicer rides around with it's low-to-the-floor driver seat, four strut suspension and rear wheel drive.

I have loved my 1994 929, but agree with you on two items: I have two windows that won't work and the moon-roof jams. They're a wonderful car, great ride, but costly parts!

Hi.

I have owned my 1994 Mazda 929 for 2 years. She has 405,000km on her.

I have rear window that I think is off the track, the motor still runs, and my sunroof sometimes is difficult about opening.

Other than that, I love this car. Beautifully designed, handles great, and I'd buy another.
