2002 Mazda RX7 Spirit-R Type-B review from Australia and New Zealand
"Unreal. Unparalleled. Unrivaled"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Oil injector failed at 55000km and had to be replaced. Had entire fluids changed at the same time (oil, transmission, brake, etc) and it cost $800AUD. This indicates that the car is a little above average to maintain.
General comments?
This car is a complete dream to drive. It is stiff in all the right places, and the feedback you get through the steering wheel is unreal.
Prior to this car, I owned and drove a 1987 Rx-7 Turbo that was mildly modified. The new Spirit-R out classes the last car hands down. It's faster, it handles better, it stops harder, and looks orgasmic.
:D.
