There isn't much wrong about this car. The turbo-chargers don't flow as well in manual transmission as in the automatics, though. It has always run perfectly for me.
This is an astounding car. It has 300 stock horsepower and can beat just about anything on the road today. I've outrun Camaros, Firebirds, 3000GTs, Supras, RX-7s, and once, a Corvette.
This is my favorite sports car I've ever owned. It is extremely fast and furious. The fastest that I've had the car up to is 169.4 MPH. If I were you, I'd buy one!
I love the 300zx. I don't have one, but it is my dream car, of course I'm 16 and my insurance company wouldn't cover it, but right when it does that car is mine.
I am a proud owner of a 1996 Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo. First off theese cars are awesome! I've tuned it up to 375 hp! They are easy to work on, and hardly ever anything goes wrong with it. Great suspention too!
Yeah I'm 18 now and I also want a 300zx. i'll probably buy a '96 after I graduate high school. i'll start with ground effects and after that get a sound system, new leather interior, and then take the engine to stage 5, 440 HP. I love that car! i've never seen anything else like it.
I own a pearl yellow manual T. T short wheel base 1990.
Its fantastic, I got it in part ex for my Porsche 944.
And I just wanted to say "I'm SCARED OF IT"
On standard trim, the 300zx (twin turbo, 0-60 in 5.7 seconds), is slower than the supra twin turbo (0-60 in 5.2 seconds), which in turn is slower than the skyline twin turbo (0-60 in 4.8 seconds)
Raziel.
I own a USDM 1995 Nissan 300ZX. I am only 17 so to all you guys that don't have it, you should try to get one, because it is really a great and fun car. Ha ha, suckers.
Thanks Raziel for that meaningless piece of information. Considering those cars cost much much more.
I have a 96 300zx 2+2 with 98,000 one owner miles. What a great looking car! It doesn't have the horsepower it needs so I don't try to outrun anyone, but it handles great. I get about 325 miles on a tank of premium gas. I had the clutch replaced at 95,000 miles, but the stick transmission has problems going into reverse unless you work with it.
The motor is smooth and everything functions. I'm 6'3" and it is a pain getting in and out, but it is worth it! I plan on keeping it for a long time.
