1992 Nissan Axxess review from North America
"Glad I bought it, I'm hoping to hit 500,000km"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Two fuel pumps (but this is my fault for letting the fuel run low, the pump is in the tank and is cooled by the fuel)
Transmission at 320,000km (I had a used one put in).
Rear power door locks.
Two alternators, two starters.
Torque converter at 289,000.
Replaced all four fuel injectors.
Radiator and all hoses replaced.
General comments?
Excellent van, with no engine rebuild I still get the same gas mileage that I did when I bought the van.
The one problem with the Axxess is parts can be costly.
My Axxess though, has easily paid for itself and still takes me to work everyday.
Here's an amazing thing, the van still has the original exhaust system (rusty, but intact and the van still passes air care).
