2006 Nissan Frontier SE 4.0 from North America

Summary:

Best truck on the market

Faults:

I have only owned this truck for a short time and so far nothing has gone wrong.

General Comments:

Many great things about this truck.

265 HP out of the 4.0 V6 is awesome. Truck has all the power that I need and then some. Transmission shifts smooth.

From the cockpit, every thing is very easy to reach. The cup holders are in a great location, guages are easy to read, A/C controls right there. My Dakota was not very user friendly.

I have a 4-Door and in my opinion it is the only way to go. I have a 3 year old daughter and putting her in the back seat is a breeze. Plenty of leg room in the front and the back. Very comfortable.

The bed is a bit small, but with the bed extender, that came with my truck, I haven't found anything I can haul, yet.

Overall I love this truck, maybe the best truck I have ever bought.

2006 Nissan Frontier SE 265-hp V6 from North America

Summary:

Lightning quick and handles great!

Faults:

So far, so good!

General Comments:

My boyfriend bought this truck in Nov. 2005... they had to special-order it because the '06 models hadn't been delivered yet, but he knew exactly what he wanted.

Anyway, the truck is absolutely wonderful. It's a dark gray extended-cab, with the 4x4 NISMO package and the 6-speed manual transmission.

The 265 horses are very apparent when you need them. Otherwise, the engine is smooth and quiet.

It handles great, and it's pretty high for a mid-size pickup, so you can see all around you. Very useful in Washington D.C. beltway traffic!

The sound system is excellent, and I really like the Sirius radio and 6-disc in-dash CD changer.

The seats are comfortable in the front, but I wouldn't suggest putting anyone in the back. I don't know if the backseats are any different on the 4-door cab though.

Overall, I really like driving this truck, and I'm pretty sure we're going to keep it for a long time. It came with three years of free service and unlimited tires for as long as he owns the truck.

The only thing is the gas mileage... I drive a Civic, so 16-17 mpg isn't acceptable to me! But it's good for a truck.

I bought a 2005 brand new in December of that year and I have had ZERO problems! Well except the fact I don't know where to take her next! Yahooo! Plenty of power, all wheel ABS, Good Looks, nice sound system and always reliable. Its almost as fun to drive as my 240sx.

I will admit that the interior, whilst it is comfortable, is a little lackluster but hey it's a truck! Who wants to ruin a nice interior after a day of mudboggin or trail-riding.
