I have a 1991 Nissan Maxima that I am replacing the front manifold on due to a broken bolt inside the manifold. I have tried EVERYTHING to get the bolt out including special broken bolt removing drills from Sears, Titanium drill bits, bolt extractor tools, etc. and nothing will penetrate that bolt. Can it be heated to loosen... any ideas...I am going crazy.

Thanks.

I have a 1991 nissan maxima. Great car. I love it. But when it rains the car will not run. It will loose all power.

I still have my 91 Maxima From new 93,000 miles on it.

Changed the timing belt and water pump and cam & front oil seals at 65,000 miles.. alternator at 75,000 miles The normal, filter, plugs, battery, (ball joints several times)cv joint and rack boots, brake, maintenance Items... front flex exhaust pipe

Rear power window regulators replaced and that funny dead clock problem

Great, Great Car... Only problem I'm having now is a little hesitation when taking off.. can't seem to pinpoint this problem... checked every thing, hoping it will get worse so I can fix this little problem. I'll keep this gem until the doors fall off.

I bought my Maxima 1991 auto transmission a year ago. I love the car. The power is excellent & smooth. I like to take on any car on the freeway, and it does a good job.

I recently fully did the cooling system, which cost me $700 AU, but now the whole cooling system is brand new, I just appreciate the engine overheat protection of Nissan, because before I replaced the cooling system (brand new radiator, hoses...) the old radiator had badly rusted and leaked, 2 hoses leaked as well & system block made the car automatically switch off. I then poured some water in when it was cooled down, then the car could be switched on. I did a couple of times like that, so I could drive on & get it fixed. Now the car drives like dream again.

I'm a proud owner of a 91 Max that I've had for 3 years. And I have nothing but praise.

I bought it from an elderly couple, and it only had 103000, and at that time I did the timing belt, water pump and front struts.

Now it's got 120000, and I've been up and down the east coast with the car. Even took it to ATL with no problems.

The only thing now is the transmission started to slip. Decided to pay good money for the rebuild since the car has never let me down.

I have had my 91 Maxima for going on 4 years. I bought it when it had 240k on the body and 80k on the motor and tranny. I have done nothing but drive the crap outta this car. I have kept up with oil changes, brakes, tires, and windshield wipers. I have only replaced the front passenger side bearing 3x, passenger side axle, clutch slave cylinder and master cylinder. The injectors are now going out in it. I've put over 150k on the car. The odometer doesn't work, so I'm guesstimating.

I love this car! She's parked in the back yard til I can find some injectors, and I'm gonna keep on sloshing that 5 speed!
