Starter motor vibrating loose; an ongoing problem. Very hard to get at the top bolt. Eventually hoisted the engine/tranny (turbo 200 GM) out and drilled through for nut bolt lockwasher combo. No more problem after that.
It was like a truck in a way. The things I was able to move in that car was amazing. Phenomenal heat in winter.
Not a quick car at all, but never hesitated or stalled.
I wanted to rebuild the engine near the end of my ownership, but Isuzu sort of abandoned that little engine. Parts were not available.
Yep, that's what the car companies do.
Whatever is any good, they get rid of it so that you cannot have it anymore.
Guess we gotta start learning from the Cubans! :)
