"A little-known bargain priced dream machine"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
A few things have gone wrong, but nothing surprising from an 18 year old car. Some of the rubber hoses under the need replacing since they have hardened over the years and now have slight leaks. Nothing bad enough yet has happened to require a mechanic.
General comments?
It's a wonderful car. It takes a ton of abuse and asks for more. It's by far the most comfortable car I've ever been seated in, especially on long rides. It has a great deal of front passenger leg room. The engine sounds very impressive and turns heads all the time. The styling of the car keeps those heads from turning back. It's not a drag-racer, but it drives smooth as silk over 100 mph. If you have the willingness to do your own preventive maintenance, this car will actually cost you less than a new family sedan overall.
