2003 Proton Waja 1.8 review from Malaysia
"Good car, but there is still room for improvement"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing major happened so far.
Gear shifting at low rpm sometimes jerking, but was resolved by the dealer.
General comments?
Acceleration is good. The overdrive button is very useful when over taking.
Adaptive gearbox (fuzzy logic) is very nice.
Handling is good.
Suspension is a bit hard on bumpy road.
Cabin noise could have been better.
Maintenance is expensive.
