1994 SAAB 9000 CS review from North America
"A great performance comfort cruiser!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I have only owned this car for a short time now and have had no problems yet.
There is a slight ticking from under the hood.
Clunk sound from the rear suspension on some bumpy areas.
Cruise control does not work.
Radiator light is stuck on though there does not seem to be a problem.
Fume smell like an overheated radiator comes through the climate control system.
General comments?
I enjoy the comfort and power of this car and the way it hugs the pavement. I drive around two hundred miles a day and purchased it for those reasons.
The miles per gallon could be better. Around town only getting 18.5 MPG and on the highway 20.2 maximum.
There is ample space for my family in both front and back seats as well as good storage in the cargo area.
Some drawbacks are the lack of a glove compartment and cup holders make travelling inconvenient.
The climate control system is complicated, automatic and has to be reset each time you enter the car.
All and all though this is a very comfortable car and a joy to drive especially on the highway.
