I had issues with my Saturn SC2, and I finally (thank god) wrecked the thing. I vowed never to buy another Saturn. But lo and behold, I saw the Vue and had to buy it.
One WEEK after buying it, it started to lose power, chug, it misfired, slipped gears, and the service engine light keeps popping on and off as it pleases. I read a lot of other people experiencing this problem. No mechanic in the freaking state can figure it out, but it's irritating and I want it fixed, so if someone figures out how to magically solve this problem we are all having, please let me know email@example.com..
NEVER BUY A SATURN >>> THEY ARE ALL PROBLEMATIC.
The car would be pretty awesome minus the chugging and fear it will die on you in the middle of the freeway. It happens at the most random times.

2001 Saturn VUE from North America
A joy to own and drive
To date I have owned this car for one year and nothing has gone wrong.
I don't expect it to ride like a Cadillac, but it is a comfortable riding car.
The towing ability is great and to be able to use the back for moving large objects has come in handy a lot.
The nice feature of the grocery compartment is a real thrill, as the groceries aren't all over my trunk anymore.
My service dept is the best I have ever seen.
When I call I am treated very cordially and able to get an appointment when I need it.
The best vehicle I have driven in my 40 years of driving.

I'm curious. If the Vue was purchased with 1000 miles and now only has 9000 miles, and you have had no problems with it, how could you know that the service dept. is great?

I far as I can tell, they didn't even make the Vue until 2002? unless you bought a '02 in '01?
