Nothing.
This must be the best value car on the market at present. It's astonishingly fast, reliable, looks good and is very cheap to run giving a regular 50MPG plus. The performance is addictive and I can't believe anyone wouldn't enjoy driving this car
Its NO performance car, test drove one and thought it was slow. Needs more power, also feels to heavy and doesn't handle that well.
You can give super-chip and than you have 164,5 Hp :) and 6s to 60mph (100 KM/h)
Sold my saxo vtr and bought a VRS. I found the saxo to be quicker to 60mph, but the midrange was better in the vrs, I didn't buy the vrs for its performance, more for its comfort and fuel econemy and more relaxed drive.

Saxo VTR is only quicker to 60 on paper. The vRS is roadtested usually at around about the 8.5 second mark. 0-60 aint its strong point because of its lack of revs. In the midrange however, it'll leave the Saxo standing. I know because I've owned the vRS and driven my mates VTR. The VTR is torquey for a small engined petrol car, but it can't quite match the vRS for acceleration.
To the other comment about it being slow - well its not massively quick, and I agree it does feel heavy and the handling could be improved, but overall, it probably suits its target audience well - however, you can get Eibach suspension, 312 mm brakes and a remap for around a grand, and that'll make it a more serious performance car, although it still won't match the hottest hatches, but it'll bridge the gap.
