Somebody please help me! My 1993 Loyale cuts out intermitenly like a light switch while I'm driving. And after that, I have to let it sit for a few minutes before it starts again; only to have it happen. I've changed fuel filter and ignition coil and the problem only gets worse. What could it be?
I love the car and other than the stated malfunction, it works great.
I had this problem from time to time with my 1992 Ford Festiva. After a few trips to the shop and some tinkering with this and that, it turned out to be a faulty O2 sensor in the end.
