1967 Sunbeam Imp Sport 875 changed to 998 from UK and Ireland

Summary:

At 50 years old, it still turns heads, unlike the owner

Faults:

Bonnet repainted twice in the UK in its first year. Fixed in NZ 1969.

Clutches have short life - 20,000 miles.

Re-bored engine at 100,000 miles.

Everything else was general maintenance items.

General Comments:

Very nimble around town and quick on the open road. Economical if driven sensibly.

Very comfortable seating and good for four if a roof rack is used for storage. As a one family owner vehicle we love it.

Off the road at present due to an idiot hitting it in the rear end. Repairs are underway at great expense.

Will go to a museum when I give up driving.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know
