Lol the site you are quoting from is from Israel. We know they are "experts" on American vehicles. Could have probably found many more errors there, but didn't want to stay there long and would not return there ever. Anyway, you can find many more sites than that which confirm that the Jimmy was renamed Envoy after 2001, a fact you neglected to mention, wonder why.

Done with arguing, waste of time.

The Envoy & TrailBlazer matched, is that right? The Jimmy & Blazer were rebadged but the same. I’m not aware of the Jimmy & Envoy names being used to describe the same SUV.

Funny thing is, you went from 2002 to now 2001 for the final year. Whatever. Anyways all 9 Jimmy reviews posted on here beyond 2002 are from; you guessed it,North America, yes regular Jimmys not Envoys. It's good to hear that you are done with this as you're at the point of pulling straws to survive.

The S-10 Blazer and S-15 Jimmy were based on the Chevrolet S-10 and GMC S-15 pickup trucks, sharing many components. and were manufactured in Pontiac, Michigan; Linden, New Jersey; Moraine, Ohio; Shreveport, Louisiana; and São José dos Campos, Brazil.

In the United States, retail sales of four-door Blazer models ended in 2004; though production of two- and four-door models for fleet sales continued into 2005. In the Canadian market, four-door models of the Blazer and Jimmy were sold until the 2004 model year and until the 2005 model year for the two-door models of both.

So, you agree the S-10 Blazer was made through 2005 like everyone else here has been saying. Your link is about the Blazer, not the Jimmy. Nice try though.

TrailBlazer and Envoy used the same platform (GMT 360) from 2001 - 2008 but yet were not identical rebadged twins like the compact 1982 - 2005 Blazer and Jimmy. You could easily distinguish the TrailBlazer and Envoy differences inside and out, not to mention the Isuzu, Saab, Buick and Oldsmobile models that were also built on the GMT 360, but all had shorter model year runs compared to Chevy and GMC.

Was 2009 actually, not 2008. Here is Edmunds reviewing the 2009 Envoy, and I think we’d all agree that’s a valid source https://www.edmunds.com/gmc/envoy/2009/review/

The link also mentions the GMC Jimmy.

I didn't post the link, but go back and very carefully reread the first few sentences that clearly state that BOTH the Blazer and Jimmy final years was 2005. Also read a little further and you'll see that the "S-10" prefix for the Blazer was dropped in 1995.

Congratulations on igniting another argument on another thread that's been going around in circles for the past week.

Interesting that the article describes both the Blazer and the Jimmy, but you fail to recognize that.

“Isuzu, Saab, Buick and Oldsmobile” also used the GMT 360 platform.

Not sure if that says more about the GMT 360 platform or more about GM that they decided to work with them, but 3 of those 4 companies are out of business now. Might not have been the best manufacturers to work with in retrospect.

The Isuzu Trooper & Rodeo did not use the GMT 360 platform.

This time you're actually right. Checking other sources it did hang around for part of the 2009 year.

At least I can admit when I'm wrong. All you have to do now is cave in and realize that the Jimmy went out in 2005.
