1990 Suzuki Swift GTi review from UK and Ireland
"The most fun I have ever had on 4 wheels"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The outer nearside Constant velocity joint needed to be replaced because gaiter split.
The crankshaft wore out after roughly 100,000 miles and it was cheaper to get a new engine transplanted.
The carpet in the drivers foot well was slightly worn.
A few panels rusted quite badly due to lack of care from previous owners.
General comments?
This car has the highest performance I have ever seen from a standard 1300cc engine, and with so many performance modifications available this car is a modifiers dream.
This car handles superbly even with standard suspension.
The braking system out performs every car in it's league with ventilated disks up front and solid disks at the rear.
