2000 Toyota Landcruiser review from North America
"Still an ICON!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
#1 Replaced an exhaust manifold by choice.
#2 Put a new muffler
#3 13-16 MPG combined with removal of 3rd seats
#4 Slightly short on power compared to peers, but definitely adequate.
General comments?
Overall, this has been an extremely trustworthy car. It has a go-anywhere ability, yet refined on the road. Power is a bit short, but adequate in climbing hills on the highways to pass vehicles. You can't beat a toyota if you are going to keep the car for a long time. The landcruiser has been described an "ICON" And so it lives up to its reputation.
