1993 Toyota Supra RZ 3.0 twin turbo from Australia and New Zealand

Summary:

High performance car in every respect

Faults:

Broken into twice, people get very jealous.

Gauge surrounds on dash is made of cheap plastic coating and wears very easily.

Rear wheel bearings and engine mounts do not stand up to current horsepower.

General Comments:

One of the most robust cars made, very easy to modify to super car or better performance (see www.supraforums.com)

Challenging to drive through tight corners.

Very dangerous on boost in the wet.

1993 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo 3.0ltr from UK and Ireland

Summary:

I Have owned a few quick cars, but this one is, well truly AWESOME!

Faults:

Battery needs replacing.

Slight blue smoke on start up,

General Comments:

Awesome absolutely awesome, the most safe, cheapest, most fun, reliable Super Car ever.

If you are in the market for a Twin turbo go for the UK version, It has bigger Breaks more extras, 327bhp, and as a rule they will be factory standard IE they don't have come with silly body kits and don't have big daft 19" alloys, they also have the bonnet vent.

Ride may be a bit harsh for some.

Road noise better than a 928s4.

Stereo not the best.

Great car, but it's not the cheapest. The 300zx would be the best, cheapest, most reliable, and fastest bang for your buck. World class HICAS steering, suspension, braking, handling, interior, exterior and engine. It truly is a ferrari f40 for $300,000 CAD less. CHECK IT OUT!!

You won't find that in a Supra.

Like said above the 300zxTT is not in the same league as the supra. Doesn't look as good either. it's a poor mans supra at the end of the day, if you can't afford 10k for a good supra TT you can pay 4k for a 300zx instead and save up.

327 BHP standard? I thought they had more than that, that's about the same as a 2.0 EVO FQ 320, they have 326! Not to mention the FQ 340 or FQ 400. But then with a big 3.0 engine in the supra, there is more scope for tuning.

Those Mitisi Evo FQ cars may have more power, but they are like 12 years newer. Check out an Evo from 1993, and I bet the power is nowhere near the Supra.
