My carburetor does not like to run my car at a good Idle in colder weather, it will idle at about 600 RPM till it is warmed up, or it will stall and kill the battery.
The front oil seal began to leak.
Replace battery.
Alternator does not give enough power when idling.
My rear suspension is shot, rear end floats around.
Engine misses throughout RPM range.
Engine is pretty durable and can take abuse.
Extremely reliable.
Handles great, no power steering gives you awesome feel for road.
Awesome highway mileage.
Never gotten stuck, plows through anything.
Check your choke, if your car runs poorly when cold. My 1985 Corolla had a similar problem. Once it would run on 500 RPM, the next time, 2400 RPM. It turns out I had grease on the choke. Cleaned it, and never had a problem since.
