2003 Troller T4 2.8 turbo diesel from Brazil

Summary:

Very Good!

Faults:

Electrical lockers lose the parameters.

Windows lose the parameters to close.

General Comments:

The car is good. It is strong enough for off road trips and comfortable enough for day-by-day use. When the time comes, and I decide to change this one, I sure will get a new one simply because I cannot stay without it anymore.

2002 Troller T4 2.8L turbo diesel from Brazil

Summary:

Best Off Road Buy: great performance and great price!

Faults:

Nothing has gone wrong with the car. It is simply built, but is very strong. I have performed 13,000 km travel, with two other Trollers, during 27 days with no problems at all.

General Comments:

It is a genuine off road vehicle. Its design is based on the Wrangler; however it is stronger than a Wrangler, as Jeep has taken much more interest in selling Grand Cherokees to yuppies. It goes great when off road and it is quite comfortable to drive on a every day home-to-work basis. As there is not much technology embarked, it is perfect to go deep into mud holes and water; it can go up to 1.20 meters with no problems, as I have already done. For Brazilian off road enthusiasts, it is the best buy, for sure.

I agree 100%. The car is good and besides we could say it has some similarity with Wrangler, it is getting much better than it. It is stronger without lose the comfort.

Having read today some first comments on the Troller in French publications (where the 4x4 is not yet admitted - unfortunately!!!), afterwards the above ones, I fear that this car never will arrive on the French market as the Wrangler and Range/Land hierarchy, as well some Asian producers will not allow it. What a waste!! The Troller production seems to me the best one as all features (simple, but efficient technology, real trial competence, road qualification... and so on) are nicely present! If these 4x4 would arrive here in France one day, I would be one of the very first clients!

What is Ford USA waiting for? I drove a Bronco 1987 for 11 years and loved it for its simplicity and reliability in all road conditions. Finally the bodywork gave out and I had to replace it. With what? I have a '98 F150 with a cap. Not exactly a Bronco, but I've had it now for 16 years. If Ford offered a Bronco (even the 87 model) with a diesel engine I would buy it tomorrow. Ford, are you listening? I'm not the only guy out here waiting for this... or its substitute... perhaps not a Ford!
