1997 Vauxhall Tigra Marine Coupe review from UK and Ireland
"Great to look at. Awful to own"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The cam belt snapped.
The petrol gage gave up.
The big end and crank went and cost £650 to fix.
Then a month or so later the engine had to be replaced as the work on the crank and oil filters etc didn't cover the major engine damage!
General comments?
The Vauxhall Tigra was and probably always will be my dream car.
But after having so many problems with mine, and shedding so many tears and sleepless nights over it... I think the time has come to part with mine.
For the first 3 month of my owning the car it was amazing, then slowly, but surely every little bit of it has failed on me.
I am gutted.
The car is really nippy, but shuddery and the windows go up and down at a snails speed.
