General comments?
This is the closest thing to a hot rod that Volvo made. No expensive turbo unit to go out. It has very good acceleration and pep.
I have had absolutely no trouble with this car that wasn't caused by myself and my family. I got this car at an auto auction for 1200.00 for my daughter. It was too much for her to handle, and after she slid sideways into another car on the interstate, I replaced the driver side doors and gave it to my wife. The kid got a 91 240 that is much tamer.
I do have to hunt for some parts that are specific to the 16-valve head, but it is worth it for the pure pleasure of driving the car.
