1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible from North America - Comments

"A must have, contains everything in one"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

I needed to replace my battery at 43,000 miles.

General comments?

This car is one of the most reliable and sporty cars I've ever owned.

The car is very quick, and the stock strut towers make handling very easy.

The inside is very roomy, and the leather seats are very comfortable.

I just purchased a 95 Dark Teal Green and I am very impressed with its appearance, performance and looking forward to meeting other owners and the excitement of driving my convertible.

Excellent car to own - I bought mine in 2000 and love to drive it. It is sporty and seems to turn a lot of heads. Black on Black with the Roll bar, (not really a roll bar). I am very happy with the car.

Bought my car in 2001. Turns a lot of heads being white on white on white. Has 160,000kms on odometer, but handles and looks very well.

Thanks for all the comments I found on your site. I was thinking about not buying this 1994 cutlass convertible, but now I'm going to get it tomorrow. I have a 93 with 180,000 miles on it, it's not a convertible, but its been the best running car I've ever owned.

I got a 1993 Cutlass convertible a couple of months ago. I was expecting to move into a home where I would have a garage, so I bought one that I figured needed some work. I got a red one, with 3.4 V6 and four wheel disks. I LOVE IT. Well, I haven't moved and car has to sit out in an apartment parking lot. I took it to a Olds dealer to get a tune up; by the looks of the paint and carpet it seemed that it would probably need a good tune up and I asked them to check the electrical system too. The dealer kept it for a couple of days. I went in and they said it did not need a tune up, the electrical system was charging fine and it didn't EVEN NEED AN OIL CHANGE!!! This from a dealer? I'll keep it as long as I can get in and out of it. Looking to get it painted by next summer and replace the carpet. I expect to enjoy the process.

Purchased a 1995 Cutlass Convertible in Georgia off Ebay. Needed a little TLC since the last owner let it go to the repo man. Needed a tranny at 120K and with a rebuilt I have not even put $1500 in the car!! Real head turner. White/Black top/ Black leather. Love my olds for the summer and my Grand Prix GT for the winter!!! Too bad I am in NY and I can only drive it 5 months of the year. Too bad GM killed OLDS...RIP, but I know my olds will be around for the next 20 years!!

I bought an 95 Olds 3.4L convt. Perfect car.

I have had some issues, but the style of the car is unmathced.

I have changed the lower intake gaskets, tried to fix and oil leak and replaced the brakes. it has 89K on it, I bought it with 60K.

Need to replace the top now..

To anyone replacing their top, I would suggest buying a top off of e-bay. They are only 150 shipped. A dealer would probably charge you 600 easy plus another 400 - 700 to install it. The installation is vary simple all you need is some glue, a staple gun, a driver, a utility knife, something to fish the wire through the top (dry clean hanger would work) and that's about it. It's a piece of cake you will be done in about 8-10 hours and won't have anymore leaks through the windows. Good Luck.

I have a red 1995 olds convertible, I love it.

it has white leather interior, runs like a dragster and has been at times. I am the only owner and only driver and I will probably never get rid of it. it is 10 years old and still looks like a new one.

Hj in mississippi.

I too have a 95 Cutlass convertible, White, with white top and black leather interior. Its got 69K miles, and runs like new. I had a 94 (aqua blue) brand new in 94, and loved it ... lease ran out so I turned it in. What a mistake! I've been wanting another, and finally got this one this past summer. Its in storage now for the winter months, but I expect to be driving this head turner for years to come. This has got to be one of the best looking Cutlass convertibles made. In my opinion, it beats out the ones from the late 60's and early 70's in terms of styling. There are some nice ones still left, and I'd recommend grabbing one before their prices really climb. They will be a collectible!
