The back window did not fit from standard.
Wheel bearings disintegrated.
Brakes have warped.
The clutch is slipping and the dealer tells me that this is pretty common, it will need to be replaced.
Unexplained uneven tyre wear.
I traded from the Freelander because I believed that it would be more reliable having had a few problems with my Land Rover, however, they were nothing quite as bad as I experienced with the Honda.
Trade in value is weak for this type of car, the Land Rover was better.
This car has no off road ability.
Dealer service is excellent, it is just the car that is bad.
I work with Honda and there cars are very well built I have never heard a problem like this before. you should try a Toyota rav 4, even though I do work for Honda I shouldn't really be saying that.
You can tell the last person who wrote the review works for Honda becuase they will not acknoweldege faults on their cars.
I have a 2002 SE bought in Feb 2002 with 38000 on the clock... since then and 10000 miles later I have needed a new alternator, water pump and now perhaps a air con compressor. I've had nothing, but hondas since 1988 and NEVER any problems.
