The car does have many issues, just got one and the dealership can't even get some of the problems fixed. I have already spent 2 grand and these are not a driver issue, but a messed up car.

I disagree, it's not necessarily the driver. My sister has an Optra (70000 km) and has gone through two engines and one head. The second time, it threw the con rod from cylinder 1 out the front of the block leaving a fist sized hole (a very dramatic end to the life of engine #2 shortly after a fresh change of oil, levels were checked earlier in the day). It is unlike anything I have ever heard or seen. Engine #1 jumped timing, mashed some valves, after having the head machined, it had an awful misfire, so we replaced the motor.

This car is not a GM car, it's a rebranded Daewoo, and I'd recommend that you run if you are ever given the opportunity to buy one.

$3000 for the car + $1000 for new head + $500 for scrap motor. 6 months of use.

Cost = $9000/year.

Buy ANY other car, this car is a nightmare.
