I, for one, utterly DESPISE that latter-day "cloth"... known as "velour".
Velour absolutely SUCKS... Why Lincoln stooped so low as to install such a really lousy cloth is inexplicable. There was a time when Lincoln used really good, high-quality cloth (like mid-1960s)... But velour only cheapens the top product by FoMoCo.
Give me leather... every time... since we can't get good cloth.

That's because the car manufacturers use lousy cloth instead of the nice cloth from the mid-1960s. Velour is garbage!
