Aww dude, I'll tell you right now that any Chevy I've ever encountered has performed above and beyond the call of duty, with ridiculous miles on them to boot. Because of this, I've only gained a lot of respect for them. Not gonna lie, I don't hear problems like the guy above very often; actually it's the first time.

Have a 2003 Silverado 3/4 ton 2WD. Over 200k and just tires, brakes, battery, and master cylinder. Great Chevrolet.

Mine has just over 464,000 miles on it, I have had to replace components (alternator, water pump etc...), but all in all it has been the most dependable vehicle I have ever owned. People need to remember components wear out. If you are having a lot of trouble with any vehicle, 9 times out of 10 it is because of lack of maintenance. If you go by what your maintenance schedule says and read the owners manuals, the vehicle will last. Not to say that there aren't lemons out there, but for the most part, as long as they have been taken care of, they will last.
