I've got the same happened to me now. The car won't start. It's the computer chip, 1800 dollars to fix at Holden.

I had a car that would start fine when it was cold, and then after about 2 minutes it would run as rough as anything. It was the O2 sensor.

When the car is cold, the computer uses a default setting and mixes the fuel properly. Then after 2 minutes it comes off default and now accepts all the info from all the sensors, and with a bad O2 sensor it was saying too much air, so it would put in more fuel and flood the engine.

The Holden Barina XX 2001 has a problem from the coil pack. Missing, warning lights coming from dashboard. A coil pack is expensive ($300), but it's easy to replace, it only needs special allen keys. I had the same problem and I bought a secondhand coil pack for $45; all problems have been solved.

Hi. I had the problem; it has turned out to be an easy fix for me. Just put the brake on and turn the key and depress the lock on the trans; starts every time now, and had the reset done on the car with the spanner and it all runs fine. Also remove the centre console and clean the cable that has had a lot of sticky stuff on it, and keeps the car from going into the gears smoothly, which can put the car in safe mode or no power. Apparently if you spill something in the trans, it gets all gummed up and needs some WD40 to clean it off and get it moving properly. You can test it by watching it move when you put your foot on brake and ignition on and off without turning the engine on.
