Not strictly correct. I have a Toyota Corolla 2003 with 312000kms on it and none of the components mentioned have been replaced, they are still original. I agree that at over 400000 k's it is an unlikely scenario, but still entirely possible.

I have an 07 Honda Element with 375k. Nothing done to the motor or trans or clutch, except fluid changes. 4 quick struts at 250k and rear end links and bushings on sway bar at 175k. 2 rear calipers, 2 rear brake pads, 4 rotors, 6 front brake pads, 1 knock sensor. All the original lights work except headlights upgraded. Mostly highway KM driving 150km a day to work.
