Author of this comment: I saw my old 504 today, still owned by the friend I sold it to. Still running strong. The new owner is elderly, and but for normal maintenance, the car runs without fault. These cars were built to last a long time providing the bodywork did not succumb to rust. The owner told me he regularly gets complimented on the car and even gets offers to buy it.
