Uh, yeah. It was just an example to rebut the theory of 08:41 that a 25 year old vehicle can have the purpose for daily use.

Also, if you really think that the comment "ran off into the weeds", you need to go back and read the second half where I clearly stated that the Cadillac 4.9 from the same era is more than reliable enough to be driven everyday compared to the crap Northstar.

Made sense to me. Comparing 2 domestic luxury car V8 configurations. Why not? If you want to talk about unrelated, take a look at some of the Toyota, Honda and Lincoln threads on here, and a Corvette is thrown in the mix.
