Yes, the Montero. Seems like every time I'm behind one at a stop light, it blows heavy smoke out the exhaust when taking off. Obviously they have oil burning problems, and in the end that will result in rod knock.

I have to say that my experiences with this vehicle would prevent me from purchasing another Mitsubishi. My brother who has used Mitsubishi Tritons in his work has nothing but praise for these vehicles.

I will continue to drive this one; hopefully it has been sorted.

The problems I have had have been due to bad assembly, bad quality control and substandard components. The camshaft belt failure was as a result of a mistake made in repair by the dealer.
