Oh yeah and endless payments/loans/lease plans, etc for new cars is just soo much better.

It depends. Get a good deal and a genuinely looked after reliable car, then you have saved a fortune. If things go wrong on the other hand... yes you are looking at big bills. But still I would recommend to anyone buying cash used over new first, especially if they are not in a steady job and cannot commit to a new car's payments.

Used cars are a great value if you do your due diligence when buying. Why get dinged with the high depreciation of a new vehicle?

Actually, people waste the most money leasing or buying new cars (unless they buy & keep for at least 4-5 years).

I bought my Kia Avella B3 last November 10, 2010, second hand with 98,000 kilometers mileage. It is now January 2, 2023 and it still serves its purpose of going from point A to B without hassle. The car's body and paint look normal, but the engine is magnificent. I even made the mistake of starting the engine while it was already running. Of course you have to spend money when changing parts since it was a model 1997-2001. Don't expect too much from a 2nd hand car performing like brand new.

Now, I have a problem with the power steering assembly with the fluid leaking. If anyone is kind enough to help me find the power steering assembly, it would be a great 2023 New Year for me. My cp# 09630563605, thanks in advance. Happy New Year to all!!!!
