There you go again, like on other threads changing the subject when the topic was comparing performance cars from the EIGHTIES. Go back and reread previous comments.

So anyways the 86 - 87 T type and GN were the fastest cars of those years and one of the fastest from the whole decade including imports and domestic, leaving most competition from the time in the rear view mirror. Didn't need any luck with those. Then there was the 87 GNX with some added goodies. All these special Regals outperformed any Mustang from the time, including the early nineties which you seem so fond of just because your son owns them.

Exactly. Let’s wait for the other commenter to tell us which Buick blows the doors off these.

Sorry, but the most horsepower produced in the US was the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon rated around 840.

Read 21:41 again. They clearly are balancing the differences on both cars being from the same era (the 1980s). And if you need to be informed on what years, make and drivetrains that outperformed a Mustangs from the entire 1980s decade; that would be 1986-1987 Regal T type or Grand National with the intercooled 231 3.8 litre turbo V6.

Save your list of Mustangs for other cars that actually competed from the post 2000s.
