Actually I have two electrical "Service Stations" in my neighborhood (Tesla Superchargers) and around here (the Bay Area) they are quite common. Second there are several EVs that now have 500+ "rated" mile range; the LUCID Air is one example. Most ICE vehicles don't have 500+ mile range either. Also charging cycle times are reducing from what use to be ~40-45 minutes to 20-25 minutes for the same states of charge.

We won't have it in 2030 either, but will probably still have high gas prices.
