1989 Nissan Maxima GXE review from North America
"Nissan has a customer for life"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had to fix 2 things with the car. 1. the LED display panel did not work, that cost about $500. 2. one of the rear automatic windows did not operate, that cost about $200. and of course there is the general wear and tear of the vehicle. the leather seats are starting to crack a bit.
General comments?
The maxima is a great car. it handles well and the ride is amazing. I got up to 120mph and I felt like I was still going 70mph. and its acceleration is great too. I come up to a red light and there is a small rice burner sitting there, in my usual fashion I challenge this guy buy revving the engine (which sounds pretty nice to boot). he of course takes the bate and I destroy him. this has happened to me numerous times. and on top of all that the car just will not die. starts up every time with no problems. I get my oil changed about once every 10000 miles (shame on me), and that is about all I really do, and it just keeps going.
