What things have gone wrong with the car?

For your life, wife and children's sake - check all lines!
NO BRAKES - FAILURE TO BRAKE is serious in any
vehicle... and this happened to me today! (Brakes already replaced 2x)
Just started the vehicle - reversed about 10 ft. then went to drive back 3-5 miles... Suddenly no stopping - no brakes - no matter how hard you brake - no stopping - no control.
Try "park" or reverse - or windows won't work
suddenly.
Right through the carport wall. Thank God I wasn't on the street. Found 2 others on net with same problem - POWER SURGE - NO BRAKES! They hit other vehicles! If anyone knows why - I would appreciate an explanation.
First it's the head gasket problem - 6 mths ago - now this! The Ministry of Transport said I got off lucky here; my bill was $1,000 - others 6-9,000 with additional repairs.
Saturn SL1 - also a nightmare - Goldhawk helped me here! Is 3 litres of oil a week normal to you??
