2003 Ford F350 XLT review from North America
"Trouble"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Purchased at about 50,000 miles.
Alternator went at 70,000.
Front End alignment issues - wearing inside tires no matter what service done - spent $600 about 2 months ago on it again alone.
Wouldn't start 6 weeks ago - spent $1800 on fuel computer control moduel, injector harness (not the injectors), fuel return line, Turbo sleeve - was in shop almost 3 weeks.
Died again two days ago after only two weeks out of shop - now dealership trying to say it is Oil Cooler, EGR Cooler, Oil Filter Adapter, and Fuel Pump and quoting over $5000 for the repair - feeling at this moment that they are not being honest about the true problem.
General comments?
The truck has overall been a good one - but maintenance is a issue and our local dealership has been less than prompt and the general feeling I am getting is that they are not being very honest with me about the true problem with my truck.
