2000 Chevrolet Malibu review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Brakes are a big problem with this car. Also ABS system has not been reliable. The car makes loud cluncking noises due to the struts. Also vacuum leaks had to be repaired by redoing all hoses and connectors. Car is very poor in handling in wet or icey conditions. Heater blower control unit also brakes even after repair. Glove compartment breaks, Center console storage and arm rest breaks. Tail lights short out due to poor sealing of the rear tail light housing. Car also in automatic does not have a dip stick to transmission. overall this year car has been a disappointment, But would buy another corvette anytime...
General comments?
Car overall has been a disapointment quality wise and performance has been below average. Car has quick accelaration to 40 miles per hour after that it feels like a golf cart. Definately not a car to be driving in bad weather conditions. Good car to drive to dumps.
