1997 Nissan Pathfinder XE review from North America
"A reliable and first-class Sports Utility Vehicle"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced the front struts at 70,000.
Compact disc player doesn't eject the disc occasionally.
Parts are expensive to replace, when needing replacement.
General comments?
Extremely comfortable and quiet on rough roads.
Very expensive feeling, from the sound of the doors closing to the click on the gear shift.
Some cheap plastics used throughout the cabin.
Plows through snow, ice and mud.
Gas consumption is fairly high and power is fairly short.
Very comfortable seats, great on long trips.
