1999 GMC Sonoma Highrider ZR2 4x4 review from North America
"Great reliable truck,, easily will get 200,000 miles"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transfer case blew, actually, a dealer tech blew it up doing a diagnostic check on it!
Seat adjusters snap every year (because the truck sits so high, you put pressure on it when entering/exiting).
General comments?
The ZR2 Highrider gets the worst gas mileage ever... don't believe the sticker... it gets 14 mpg highway!!! Been to dealer for that, and they said it is normal for a 4x4.
Very reliable, never been stranded with any GM truck before. My last S-10 had 196,000 miles before I traded it in, only replaced an alternator on it.
