2002 Kia Rio review from North America
"Korean made TRASH"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Where to start, The second day I had the car the automatic transmission went crazy on the interstate, had to be towed back to Kia and sat there for 2 weeks before it was repaired during this time I had nothing to drive.
Things went OK for about 3 weeks then the electrical problems started the Cd player would get so hot that it just stopped playing then the turn signals quit working once again it was at Kia again for 1 week.
The thing is built so badly that at 65mph the thing is shaking all over I can't even hardly hold it on the road.
The tires are all worn down on the front, but Kia and everyone else says that the car is not outta line!
Now the cd player is out again and the rear windows are leaking water all over the place when it rains.
General comments?
This is the worst car on the market I don't even know why I bought this thing I should have listened to my family this thing is hideous. I hate it this thing burns oil and the transmission slips all the time, the engine growls like an animal in heat when you are trying to get up to speed. The door handles and window cranks are cheap plastic, I hate this thing and I haven't even had it a year-
