1986 Mazda B2000 review from North America
"A tough, cheap-to-run, zippy little bulldog"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
A/C wasn't cold. Charged it and switched it over to new freon and it blows ice cold.
General comments?
I just bought this little truck. It was a bit abused by its first owner. I found a receipt under the seat where it had a new engine and clutch installed at 116K miles to the tune of over $3500. Now it runs like a new truck and I feel I got a more than fair deal on it since I bought it from a used car lot. They were clueless it had a new engine or I am quite sure they would have asked double the price. I LOVE this tough little bulldog truck. It runs great, shifts great, and the black paint is still OK. It needs a seat cover and 2 good speakers, but that's about it. My gas mileage is an incredible 30mpg.
