1990 Plymouth Laser RS review from North America
"I would recommend this car for anyone that likes power and speed that has money to do something"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I traded my s-10 for this car. I have to say that it has performed like I thought it would. I have wound it up to 140 mph and the only thing I could find was that it started getting a little light in the front end. a year after I had it the head gasket blew out. I didn't realize that laser parts were so expensive. for what I put in the top of the motor, I could have bought a newer motor with only 30,000 miles on it. the problem that I am having now is the clutch pedal assembly is just a bit difficult to work on. I am having to take apart the dash and the stirring column to just get to it. but over all I like the performance in the car. it comes stock with 192 hp. and it really moves when you tell it too.
General comments?
The only problem I have is there is not a lot of room. I am 6" 2" and this car was not designed for a tall person. there is plenty of head room and the seats are comfy.
